Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Otonic.ai (ABN 11 366 519 944) ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us, book a consultation, or use this site, how we use and store it, and how you can access, correct, or complain about the handling of it. It is written to reflect the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as a matter of good practice, whether or not those principles apply to us as a matter of strict legal obligation at our current size.

What we collect

How we use it

Disclosure to third parties and overseas storage

We use a small number of third-party services to run this business. Using them means your information may be processed or stored on servers outside Australia — principally in the United States. These providers each maintain their own privacy policy and security standards:

We take reasonable steps to only work with providers with appropriate data-handling and security practices, but we cannot guarantee the practices of services outside our direct control.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We keep contact details and conversation records for as long as needed for business communication and, where a project proceeds, for the duration of that engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time — see below.

Access, correction, and complaints

You may ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time, free of charge, by contacting hello@otonic.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information and are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of this site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
